This home originally relied on a single-zone hydronic air handler with improperly sized ductwork serving both floors. As part of a full duct system redesign, we replaced the existing ductwork for improved airflow and converted the system into two independent zones. We also added a Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat mini-split to provide dedicated heating and cooling for the apartment above the garage.
