The ECS Story
Engineered Comfort Solutions was built on a shared vision between Everett Walsh and Joshua Hope — two industry professionals who believe that true comfort is both an art and a science.
After graduating from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 2016 with a degree in Marine Engineering, Everett pursued a career in HVAC, bringing his technical background and leadership skills from his time as Captain of the Academy’s baseball team into the mechanical trades. His early success led him to become an Area Sales Manager for Carrier Corporation, and later, a business development leader for Daikin North America. Working closely with engineers, contractors, and manufacturers, Everett saw a gap forming between the rapid advancement of HVAC technology and the industry’s ability to implement it effectively. That realization inspired the creation of ECS — a company built to bridge that gap with hands-on expertise and forward-thinking engineering.​
​Joshua Hope, a second-generation Master Plumber, brings more than 30 years of field experience in HVAC and plumbing. His mastery of mechanical systems — from geothermal heating and cooling to low-voltage control integrations — has made him a trusted name across the region. Known for his practical knowledge, leadership, and unmatched craftsmanship, Joshua embodies the quality and reliability that define ECS.

Together, Everett and Joshua founded Engineered Comfort Solutions with a commitment to blending technical innovation, professional integrity, and local craftsmanship. But ECS is much more than its founders — it’s a team of experienced, skilled tradesmen from diverse backgrounds, united by one goal: delivering smarter, more reliable comfort solutions for every home and business we serve.
